the follow-up to 2014's hit munchkin simulator is now available on steam early access if you're into that whole "pay a bunch of money for a game before it comes out like a retard" thing, which i totally am.

features: forceful co-op, antagonistic co-op, bickering among friends

You can electrify blood!

This ended up terribly when I did so at point blank range, resulting in me and the very first enemy getting stunlocked for an eternity, while his other friend bit me to death.

blood is pretty much the worst

I see it has co-op but the early access bit has me a bit worried. Not that they wont deliver but I don't know how stable or functioning that element of the game would be.
Any of you try it yet?

As much as I hate liggers, these ones look like shit compared to the ones in Dragon Commander. Then again nothing can match the characters from Dragon Commander.

yes

gameplay-wise there's a few odd ends that need to be fixed (at one point an enemy ranger literally hopped up onto the borders of a map, nearly breaking the encounter), but it's still extremely solid and fun to play

Story-wise the game is largely incomplete. There's the skeleton of a narriative so you have some semblance of a clue as to what's going on, some npcs will react to your followers/you (you can chose to start the game playing as one of the potential playable followers), but it seems that all of the player dialogue is placeholders (i.e. "*ask the magic-nazi to have a more defined motive*").

One thing I'd like to point out, all players go through character creation in a multiplayer session, and all players present to a trigger participate in group dialogues.

The game's about 30% or so complete, but it's still extremely good. I'm looking forward to the finished project in December.

Been probing the starting area I quite like it.

Don't start as prince lizard as a mage though he's your early source of knockdown that makes any of your mage or archer shit work.
