there's 14 different X-Men you can play as such as gambit who flings cards and can teleport, the tsudere fencer girl, the slow as fuck but boss katana man, dragoon jumping NBA teenager, ETC you pretty much see where im going with this. You can pretty much do anything Final Fantasy, ride a chocobo, they brought back random encounter and overview map thats been lost since FF9. You got your standard upgrade and buy new skills and whatnot, there's also a tactical map view aspect, at that point the game plays like DOTA/LOL.
If you don't feel like shelling out $60 for a remade game, download PPSSPP (psp emulator) and the actual iso for it. A while ago some group of neck beards subbed the entire game in english. Which in Final Fantasy games english dub in general are terrible. The exceptions are Sir "BOSS" Auron, the only black guy in the FF series (He was in 13), and that Hope, His dub was actually spot on for his bitch personality but then he dropped his balls in FF13-X2 pink pubbed hair returns where he regressed into his kiddy stage but is apathetic.
And for anyone who will be playing this via emulator if your a cheating bastard like myself here's some codes. PPSSPP doesn't come with codes for this game so you'll have to go into where ever your document folder is and add them in yourself.
I had to change the Max Money cheat because if you leave -0x000F423E- to 0x000F423F- your money won't decrease causing the game to crash when saving.
