I bought this and have been having a good time with it. Can't get past 60 seconds though, I keep dying to the fucking worms over and over again. The video up above is the most insane this shit can get to.

It's really a lot of game for the price. I think the best part about it is how quickly and easily you can start a new run, and how fast it gets right into it. If there was even a few seconds delay between deaths and starting over it would be a lot less enjoyable.

Focus on taking down the pillars as fast as you can and remember to stop periodically to get gems.
If you aren't flawless on picking up all the first available gems to get the first power-up as fast as possible, you're fucked. Some people alternatively leave the pillars up so they can farm the horned skulls for more gems but I personally don't think it helps. All the best runs I've seen don't do that.

Bunnyhops will help you go fast enough to stay away from a lot of shit. Get used to hopping everywhere.

The amount of shit flying around trying to kill you as the game progresses is insane.
You die in one hit from anything, and there's a lot of anything.

Really, really, really, the greatest part of this game is the sound design. It's full of unique audio cues and makes great use of surround sound to give you a ton of information about the things that are all around you even if you can't see them.

Load up someone's run and just close your eyes and listen to it. This game is like fucking pornography for audio engineers.
