Ban reason and length: (MANUAL BAN) Logged as AI without notifying anyone. Made a station announcement and then left. Please explain on the forums. Length is not mention, so I am going to assume that it is a permanent ban.

Your side of the story: I had IRL things coming up, so I had to stop playing. From earlier interactions with admins, I remembered that making an IC announcement for leaving as AI was sufficient, but I guess I remembered it wrong.
Why you think you should be unbanned: Because I did not act out of malice, or anything. I simply remembered a policy wrong. The rules also mention not leaving at round-start, but the round had been going on for quite a while at that point.

I was referring to rule 5, which mentions leaving at or near roundstart, not well into the round.
Did I misinterpret that rule?

I'll lift the ban because you just misunderstood the rule. Next time you have to leave from an important role like that let an admin know before you log off.
