I tussled with a bunch of jerks from cargo with a gun I recieved from the Mime (hidden in a toilet). The jerks from cargo in question were setting emitters and electric fields and had acquired guns of their own, through illicit means. I threw one into the field a few times after he shot me and tossed me out, which didn't crit him (he was still crying for help when I left) and the second apparent time I critted him, I shot him twice (on lethal) and he ran up and apprehended me after returning some fire (also on lethal). At this point I got up to eat dinner and when I got back I was banned for the reason above. I never set foot in the armory, nor did I crit anyone.

I could cry and moan about how shitty it was for cargo to grab guns and bunker up (how are we supposed to get supplies?), especially considering their particular method of keeping out intruders (seriously? Fucking laser fields?), but our definitions of shitty behavior have changed and I'm really only appealing this because I never had a chance to make an appeal while I was eating. I do concede that I was violently policing another player's behavior, as shitty as their behavior was.

The person who set up the laser field emitters was me, and simply for the reason of a pet project. I was the captain (started as head of personnel) at the time but with a regular cargo tech ID at the time. I stunned you and dragged you away after you ran in and started pushing all the equipment around. You came back, pushed me down, grabbed me and threw me into the field multiple times to the point of flashing red health where I had to limp to medbay after the quartermaster (who was also helping me set up the shields) saved me from you throwing me again.

I then went about my business after telling the only security (a borg at the time) to arrest you. You came back later, with what I learned later was an E-gun given to you by the mime and proceeded to laser me through the field. After beepsky got you, but didn't cuff you, you cut back up and stunned the quartermaster for attempting to apprehend you. I don't understand how you can call myself and quartermaster jerks when we were minding our own business before you butted in. Even then I only stunned you and dragged you above the bridge away from our work place. No arrest, no harm, no cuffs. You came back and almost murdered me on the spot with a lucky push and throwing me against my own shields. Later, you proceeded to laser me even though I did nothing but call security on you for almost murdering me.

I have seen a lot of shitty behavior from you in the past but Skorvold handled all of it because I was involved.

I'm not saying what I did was OK (it was definitely an overreaction to the actual circumstances), but there's a fine line between "exceptionally shitty guncargo" and "pet project", which you made slightly blurrier with your overall demeanor and decision to shoot me and throw me out than to ask me to get out. It was far easier for me to construe you as some dumbfuck fresh off of a front-page server with what I experienced than it was to see you as an admin running a questionable sideshow.

The only gun involved was the gun that belonged to me as the head of personnel. There was no gun cargo period. Stop making excuses for awful behavior and quick to jump to kill attitude.
