It was more the fact that they tried one stupid gimmick, received negative feedback from admins, tried something else and got bwoinked about it, then proceeded to change what they had done for the worse.

whole ban is dumb. he got banned for flickering some lights and putting the equivalent of a "u gay" message on the arrivals announcer, and got a dayban for it? "shitty gimmick" bans are generally MUCH worse than this, and apparently he wasn't even warned to stop (which would have been a totally valid way to handle things, considering he had done no permanent damage to the round)?

I seriously don't think it's equal to compare "johnson inspection day" to an arrivals announcement that says "X likes futa dicks" which then got changed to "X likes big, black, pulsating, smegma-covered futa dicks" in any remotely sane realm of grounded logic, though I generally think people can be a bit too trigger happy about stuff like this but the edit is pretty questionable and he continually made the edit worse and did more stupid spammy or gross out shit.

Biggest mistake nabski made which a lot of other admins do was in trying to indirectly subtlemessage or flicker lights/apcs around him as a hint. If you have an issue with someone's conduct or you want them to do something, adminpm them and don't try to subtlemessage them. Information can be miscommunicated or ignored entirely with garbage nondescriptive "hints" instead of a pm telling them to cut borderline shit. A simple "Hey dont do x it's against the rules or be careful with x it's tiptoeing the rules in y way" would be more than enough.
