Your side of the story: the warden was trapped in the mail chute so I shot the window below them, and didn't notice that it was lasering them instead of the window

Long resolved; before he even talked to me I had an inkling of how the hits occurred and it was lifted after he a-helped ingame and explained, confirming my suspicion.

If you stand in a grouping where someone/an ally is directly beside you, and there is a mob infront of them (which is diagonal of you), and you 'fire point blank' by clicking on the enemy, the text says you shoot the enemy/clown but the hits actually hit the person beside you, not the diagonal one, as it happened to me just some days prior while fighting clown mobs.
