Banning admin: Okand37
Ban type (What are you banned from?): Server
Ban reason and length: Perma, "meta communicating"
Time ban was placed (including time zone): 1:57 EST
Your side of the story: There was an event going on having to do with a syndicate freighter, I went in and died due to the teleporter not working right. I talked to okand about it, and got a bit annoyed. I yelled some curse words and my sister asked what was going on. I told her "I went through a teleport on SS13 and died in an event". A few minutes later with no further word I was banned.
Why you think you should be unbanned:
I have no idea why I got banned, all I did was tell my sister why I was swearing. I do not know what she did or how it was found out that I talked to her, but at the very least contact from an admin would have been nice, as opposed to a random perma-ban that I have no idea about

Meta-communication is a zero tolerance policy. Any communication outside the game in anyway relating to the current round is no bueno compadre.

After you died and complained when you couldn't be healed, 'Zhgorin' logged on with the same IP as your own. They ran straight to the location you died at with no previous knowledge (it was through the teleporter) of your death or the location itself. After they ran through, I asked them if they knew you and they said you were siblings. Moving on from this, I asked why they ran straight into the teleporter and they replied with "PM: Zhgorin/(James Wanderer)->Okand37/(Syndicate Admiral): He said there was a cool event, all he said was teleporter and then winked"

I think its pretty obvious why the ban was placed.

Okay thanks for the explaination, I get it swearing and explaining why is not okay. I just wanted to know why I was banned , also I was in my corpse everybody ran right by my death.

Final thing I need to say, is that now that I know why, my sister (I will not call her by name for privacy reasons) absolutely refuses to talk to me.
If you had told me she had gotten on and used the information I had said without thinking IC, I would have gladly made her log off, and remined her about the rules. But no ban ME because my SISTER did something, that is TOTALLY fair

Ok actual final thing.
I talked to my sister and she told me what she did. Now I am pissed at her for breaking the rules. WE ARE DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
Yes she broke Rule 2, Yes she should be banned for breaking Rule 2. But I did no break rule 2, I did not use OOC information IC, I could not possibly use OOC info IC because I was dead. Nowhere in the rules does it say giving somebody extremely bare bones information, while explaining why you were cursing is not allowed. I firmly believe that I am gtting banned because somebody who lives in the same house as me, and uses the same wifi as me got banned.

I don't know how you expect me to believe in this. You said yourself the other day that you were not using your other account, Zhgorin, to play in tg. And now out of nowhere it was your sister? Like, you never played together or anything, never said anything to admins that someone would be playing in the same IP as you, then out of nowhere, your "sister" appears and apparently rescues your body right away...

As far as I know my body was never rescued
And I did explain this, but never in any appeals, I do not remember the admins name, but I explained to them that after I stopped using the other account my sister started occasionally laying with it.
And I want to re-iterate that as far as I KNOW nobody ever rescued my body, I was near it in ghost form up until the server kicked me off, and it was never moved

I understand that my story sounds like bullshit.
I understand I am not some perfect scot free donor.
But TG is my faviorete server by far, and after this experience, if I can be given one more chance I KNOW I can make sure I do better

It's generally standard policy when someone claims that "it was X person I know who connected on my account and griffed, not me". Basically we tend to demand a photograph of the two you wont already have or be reasonably able to find

I think it's kind of dumb, but everybody else seems to have a giggle about it. Can confirm though i've had at least three similar ban requests PMed to me with the shoe on head proof with faces blacked/blurred out.

Which yes, by the way if you are going to do that please PM the admin in question and not post it on the forums.

My sister and I are both over 18 years of age, although we look slightly younger. I also do not know why you would assume ages based on a picture that does not show our faces.

I don't think you did it in any malicious way, but it still doesn't excuse the fact you did break a zero tolerance rule. However, with that said, I don't think you-again-had any malicious intent with it.

We'll try unbanning your account, but the other account will stay banned to ensure the situation doesn't repeat itself.
