Changes to some game configs

Ling is now at a weighting of 1, so is extended, due to recent forum threads. This is just a small run, headmins feel free to revert. For reference, changeling used to be at 3 and that was the lowest weighting at 6.1%.

I'm also thinking of having the assistant cap be completely removed. Grey tide hasn't been so bad when it got raised and frankly if you grey tide nowadays sec gets away with treating you harshly and if sec doesn't do it there are plenty of admins keen it seems anyway.

Post salt/reverse salt here if you want about these changes.

If you want a mode to have an even lower weighting than what setting it to 1 provides, raise every other mode by a factor of 2, which will halve the mode.

Alternateively I THINK the config can use decimals, you could probably set it to .5 if you wanted.

this is probably a really stupid question, but why dont we just make all game modes have an equal chance of occurring?

also i personally would like to see an assistant cap in place but that's just me.

I'd be up for disabling "enforce human authority" (i.e. allowing mutantrace heads of staff), but I doubt anyone else is.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but that's certainly not what I've seen.

I saw 85/90 odd people on last night on a Monday evening, on asteroid station. So that doesn't really seem like a drop to me.

Also all rounds are "secret" so you have no real way of know if they are extended for people to be able to choose to leave. Maybe if rounds have been going on a while people choose not to join. But honestly extended generally means an admin event or something thrown into the mix that makes it anything but the norm'. People generally seem to like that and stick around because of it.

Changeling stands better to just run alongside Traitors, not as a unique game mode onto itself.

Extended is usually a hour long snore fest.

The best """roleplay""" and whatever comes when there's a overall plot or conflict to drive things forward, 99.9% of movies/games/table top games/whatever involve some sort of conflict.

Nothing good happens when there's no conflict, and relying on admins who are notorious for dragging their feet to do anything interesting, and when they do its usually just spawning a Traitor, makes me wonder what's the point with extended when your better off making it a traitor round.
