Possible bug with appendicitis

I was an MD in a round earlier today and noticed that the clown had appendicits. Midway through surgery to remove it, I myself came down with appendicitis. Now I am not sure if this is a bug where for some reason it was spreading like a normal disease, or the Random Number God just decided to have this happen, but I figure it is worth mentioning at least.

I've seen a guy get appendicitis like 5 rounds in a row, extremely unlucky.

I've had a round where I got appendicitis only a few minutes after I had surgery because of appendicitis.

"You have appendicitis."
"I DON'T HAVE AN APPENDIX!"

"It seems you are right."
