Summary:
The incident in question started when after me and an old friend, Roman Pavlyunchekov/Littlbear from another station died from a wizard attack. After doing so, as me and my friend were talking, another player on the server proceeded to insult us and talk angrily towards us. We were arguing with him, while I was also trying to calm everyone down and just let the problem be. This went on for awhile.

Following that I was muted from deadchat. I did not say anything in ooc chat besides telling Littlbear to be quiet after he complained he was muted while I tried to PM the admins regarding the situation. The only admin on public log at the time was Elyina.

I pmed the admins 2 times following my mute that round. None of the 2 pms, which I do admit the second one was rude but justifiable given my frustration, merely asking for an explanation as to why I was muted, were responded to. Following the 2nd pm, I was muted from everything. IC, OOC, Adminhelp/prayers, everything. No explanation.

The round ended with me being muted from everything so unable to communicate with anyone.

The following round I pmed the admins, which now included Cheridan. He is the one who responded, so I am making the assumption he is responsible for the events that occurred regarding this incident.

He didn't respond to this. In about 5 minutes after my last message, I pmed:


PM to-Admins: are you going to respond or continue being unreasonable?


He responded:

Any logs after this are useless, wasn't abuse, actions I committed afterwards were ban/abuse worthy.

Only thing I can see that I'd put Cheridan at fault for is the ban reason being too vague. "Egregious OOC in IC, communicating blatantly OOC matters to a metafriend IC" would have been a lot better.
If you want to be aggressive and a jerk to people, you really don't have any right to complain over something as minor as getting muted from deadchat. If you want to be a jerk to an admin, you really don't have any right to complain when they get fed up with you and block you off. And you sure as hell don't have any right to demand apologies from admins for doing their jobs. You're 100% at fault in this. Every time the situation got worse, it was as a direct result of your actions.

1st, an explanation isn't the same as an apology. I asked for an explanation. Don't twist my words.

3rd, even if you consider my chat aggressive and unfriendly, which it was not, as it was only a response to the person insulting me, that certainly does not excuse being nar-sied and then banned under bullshit allegations of metagaming because the admin refused to actually say a word to me while punishing me.

And the rules do not say anything against OOC in IC. It asks not ruin anyones roleplay. No one in the conversation was roleplaying. It's a bs reason to ban anyone over anything, added to the fact that having said conversation in OOC would likely have ended with a full mute again, a reasonable assumption to make considering the events of the previous round, so it was consideration for everyone involved to keep it relatively private. And I don't see the issue with having a friend from outside the server, as long as the rules are abided by, which they were, so try not to throw "metafriend" around like it is relevant to the issue.

Fair enough. I did not completely understand the rules. I was wrong, and I apologize for including any of the mentioned "abuse" in the complaint.

As for the rest, I wish he had just said something rather than ignore me when I was asking about the muting, but rude behavior is hardly worth an admin complaint. This can be locked, I retract my complaint.
