1. I hate to break it to the headmins, but sometimes people really do just be saying things to continue a conversation. the term "disguising bait" is nothing more than a made up word like friendzone or mansplaining, created simply to make the person feel better about themselves, that they are indeed virtuous and in no way wrong about anything

2. two of the current headmins have now made it not only completely fucking obvious of their bias for sinful, one of them has now come right out and stated it openly

Sinful is a very well-known case of Hanlon's Razor.
He is not doing anything out of malice, there is not a malicious bone in his body.
It is very clear, however, that he does stupid things because he's an idiot.
He brought up "what's wrong with stirring drama", which in a vacuum, is...still eh, but at least arguable, but was definitely not the right thing to say when regarding the drama with Imitates, which ended in a clusterfuck.
Should he have been told off for being an idiot? Absolutely. That was a fucking idiot take considering recent events, especially since he posted it right in the thread about that very incident.
Should he have been banned for "being willing to stir up drama and having the behaviour for it." No. He was not being malicious about it, given his general behaviour.

Sinful should not be banned on the basis of maliciously stirring up shit, because it's clear that the issue is Sinful is stupid, not malicious.

Granted, Typhnox's views were already very bad to begin with (not going to get a full comment because come on this is obvious) but the Internet is well known for being a drama consumer.

Back to Sinful. His posts in these threads were met with derision to the point it took up the whole thread. Everyone went and argued with him and called him out on having a terrible take. Not one person was on his side. The problem with this ban is that the trigger is bullshit. You can dislike Sin all you want, but at least ban him when he says something questionable or explain properly how it is a rule 7 ban and because of a long history of near rule breaking behaviour. So many things can be solved by just having a proper ban reason. Same with the other ban "Drama stirring" was just a bullshit reason and it led to another bullshit ban on the part of Typhnox because what he said the second time really did not warrant a ban. If you want to ban him just say it was because of his stance on the topic he was defending.

This ban is like the Iraq war, everyone knows Saddam was a dipshit dictator but the US just outright lied to invade, which is why it seen as such a horrible move.

Completely correct.

The fact that he suddenly got a permaban after seemingly getting away with it for so long was the worst thing about this ban.
It feels very arbitrary. If Rave or other admins felt that sinful's behaviour in general was horrible, should they not have taken steps to correct them before this permaban? Why only wait until now to act so harshly?
They should have officially warned him, "please stop with your shit before we bring the hammer on you". Had they done that, perhaps (PERHAPS) he could have corrected himself.
