The Definitive naming policy [Ultimate Edition]
There's now two different threads debating this so why not a third

Humans: In the darkness of the 26th century mankind has seen an explosion of pop-culture related names from the early 21st century. Nations are founded, rise, and fall by the families with names such as Arya FunkoPop-Vasquez-Jerma. As a result human names are now pretty much anything a human being could be named in the world today minus rule 8/11 violations. Ex: KVII-lyn Ling-King-Park or Daenerys Johnson
Lizzards: I don't care keep the old policy
Moths: I don't care keep the old policy
Felinids: Strictly ridiculous anime names because felinids are a joke. Ex: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Long-Loooooooooong Maaaaaaaan, Rururaruri Rurararirararururirirari Rirararururararururararirari
Ethereals: Make up a star name it's the 26th century and nerds have had 500 more years to name stars and planets dumb shit in dozens of languages
Plasmaman: Keep it I guess or switch to a bones related naming system. Ex: Burny-Bones Mcgee, Dry-Bones Johnson, Er-Bones Dickinson

I am strictly uninterested in any naming policy that forces a race to use a specific template without exception, and any system where all it takes is a single administrator disliking your name to get you appearance banned.

If you give someone a year to stop shitting on the carpet and they keep doing it but get slightly closer to the bathroom every time and sometimes they get to the toilet before it happens, at what point does it become acceptable to just ask them to go shit in someone else's house?

Felinid names are a blight and if I had the final say I would execute all the food names

Re: The Definitive naming policy [Ultimate Edition]
Agreed. Our Plasmaman/Ethereal templates are creatively bankrupt. 90% of Plasmamen I remember don't use the naming template. If the rules are made more strict then the unique ways you can customize yourself as a plasmaman will decrease even more. Right now all they have is hats, crayon face and names that break the template.datorangebottle wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 6:13 pm I am strictly uninterested in any naming policy that forces a race to use a specific template without exception, and any system where all it takes is a single administrator disliking your name to get you appearance banned.

Making a food name in your honor
Timberpoes wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 12:41 am From my perspective, players just want to genuinely be listened to. And I don't mean it condescendingly, but to genuinely have their say and for admins to listen, process it and reply. Even if you don't give two shits about what the player is saying, even if you disagree with every part of what they say, players are less likely to leave an ahelp pissed off if you've listened to them and given a reply that directly addresses what they've told you.

Admins can barely make a policy that works let alone players club.
