Lent is a Christian celebration, it's p much 40 days of fasting and prayer. Instead of fasting from food a lot of people choose something else to give up for lent such as coffee, social media, alcohol, whatever. It ends on the Thursday before Easter I believe? I don't really celebrate it, most Baptist churches don't do Lent. My church had a few weeks of fasting and prayer at the beginning of this year. It's really big in the Catholic church, idk about other denominations.
