Funny screencap tbh. The absurdity of posting questionmarks and then blocking the person, thus preventing any response to the implied wish to clarify is hilarious.

Re: Discord argument goes sticky with tears
What a clusterfuck to dive into, I feel sincerely sorry for Coconut for having to read all that.
I think Tearling asked Sticky to stop so abruptly only because he realized he was losing the shit-flinging war and wanted an escape plan from the hell he earned for himself, you can disengage from a convo anytime by yourself by just ignoring it.
That said it was patently obvious he was being sincere with some of his messages asking Sticky to stop, I doubt Sticky interpreted them as anything less and probably just wanted to capitalize on the verbal W despite his discomfort.
Tl;dr: both parties are equally guilty for their own little evil reasons but now that they’ve kissed and made up it’s all better

Re: Discord argument goes sticky with tears
It was solely because Sticky is known to have 14 hour arguments, and he mentioned he planned on making the image a discord sticker by boosting. This is shortly after he donated around 50 bucks to get the discord slowdown to 5 seconds, he'd do it.sinfulbliss wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:58 am I think Tearling asked Sticky to stop so abruptly only because he realized he was losing the shit-flinging war and wanted an escape plan from the hell he earned for himself
If you actually look at when I asked him to stop it, it wasn't abrupt, it was over an hour after he originally took the picture, and the picture itself is taken out of context. I wasn't saying "You've been blocked" as in I shut down the argument, I was saying "You've been blocked" as in I never unblocked them, I was just reading their messages anyways.
I tried that. 2 hours after I asked Sticky to stop he was still posting it, and although I had him blocked, he was still trying to reply to my posts with it. A few other people were posting it too, getting around the block. It was only after 2 hours did I go to Coconut, but because Sticky went afk at that point it wasn't until around 5 hours later did he actually stop, at around 11am.sinfulbliss wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:58 amyou can disengage from a convo anytime by yourself by just ignoring it.
Understand though, I'm happy with how this ended. I'm just defending my actions in this case, not trying to push anything else on Sticky. What's done is done, and I'd be happy if this thread was buried in something more interesting.
*Edit
The thread title is quite funny though, and is clever. Good title.

And I don't mean it condescendingly, but to genuinely have their say and for admins to listen, process it and reply. Even if you don't give two shits about what the player is saying, even if you disagree with every part of what they say, players are less likely to leave an ahelp pissed off if you've listened to them and given a reply that directly addresses what they've told you.
