I have literally been this dude several times, except it was shuttle calls instead of clowne (benobio to get stab metal extract and waiting for sheets to generate). If you divine bozos weren't so utterly terrified of spawning mythril i would have managed to bestow my masterworks upon a worthy tider champion at least once by now.

One time, Armhulen asked me if I had any code ideas and was surprised to see that I actually did have one, as, according to him, players usually only want to bring back removed content when they cry about coders. It was at this point that I realised just how based Armhulen was. I don't think he ended up coding latejoin ling for me, though... (not to be confused with midround ling, which was added by Rhials).
I have a confirmed grand total of 1 merged PR. That basically means I'm a c*der now. 8-)

We discussed this at the time - they are different things. Midround is for ghosts, latejoin would be for the arrivals shuttle. You can be a tot, heretic, or even rev, so why not a ling?
