Can duplicate books be deleted from the book db?
There's A LOT of duplicates as seen here:
https://atlantaned.space/newSS13tools/l ... icates.php
Is there a way for those to get cleaned out?
Some examples: 40 copies of The Lusty Xenomorphs Maid,15+(total)x Woody Got Wood, 5x On the Creation of Niggers, 4x The Lusty Lizardperson Maid, 3x Furry wolf vore, 3x Homestuck Rose Kanya Smut Fanfiction, 3x Anne Frank x Goku: Act I.
Now as great and meritorious these books might be, it's getting a bit cluttered ingame.

Atlanta ned only has read access to the main db, not write access.
Admins can flag a book for deletion in the library interface, but that only adds it to a list. No actual changes can be made atm.
To answer your question: eventually, yes. There's just a lot of stuff that needs to be done first.

A rework if the library has nothing to do with it.
As I said. Atlanta ned can't make any changes to the db, they can only read from it. Until they get write access, they can't do anything.
As for what needs to be done, there's a to do list on the site.

We used to have a book club where volunteers would maintain the library so go ask mso about it.
