Blob overlord starts life as a Morph

Morph needs to eat so much shit without getting caught so it will have enough biomass to turn into the blob core. This way you get the old ability to sabotage things and the system of I get to place when I want where I want!


Could distinguish it that like Alpha Morphs can only turn into Blobs or something.

That's a great idea actually. Game could spawn 3 or 4 Morphs who gotta eat someone in order to burst into a blob.

Would be absolutely hilarious and amazing with the lavaland morph syringe.

it's an interesting idea at the same time it'd mean i would have to deal with morphs more often and as morphs are entirely FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE to deal with i'd hate to see it actually implemented.

morphs are actually not so bad unless they use the blood drop disguise technique but in that case they generally don't do a lot of damage

laser guns fuck up morphs hard


this is a real neat idea, i just worry that the morphs will get busted earlier. this was less of an issue with human-blobs since they were humans and not immediately suspicious, but morphs are a direct and immediate threat that are KoS (and would also be a hard tell that the round is blob long before the centcomm report). would be willing to try this though.

I wouldn't mind seeing roundstart sabotage be brought back, but starting as a morph just seems really powerful. It would be interesting for the blob to start as a special sort of type of this, but it is unlikely.
