More weapon attachments
The Idea: Add weapon attachments that increase the functionality of weapons.
How to implement this: Give each gun the following slots: Barrel, under barrel,rail,stock,charge pack slot (For E-guns), trigger, accessory
Attachment ideas:
Shot Spreader: Barrel attachment, Disables using tasers on the selected energy gun, but lets the gun now shoot like a shot gun. Can be set from 1 (Normal) to 5 (5 shots, each 1/5 the strenght of 1 shot)
Scopes: Rail: Come in x2 x3 x4 and x6. Moves the camera to allow you to see father, much like the sniper rifle does
Charge pack: Acts as a slower, but portable recharger
Laser: Under barrel: Shown in a straight red line when on. Can be aimed into a persons eye while shooting at them, if the eyes are targeted. Can also be used to see invisible objects as they will become distorted when it hits something invisble
Gel Stock: Makes it harder for someone to disarm you, also reduces camera shake on applicable weapons
Finger Print Trigger: Locks that guns use to the person who scans their finger on the trigger. Can be un-locked by the Warden, HOP, HOS, or captain
Energy stock: Increases the total charge an energy gun can hold
Tracking device: accessory: Applicable to other items such as hard suits or the telescopic shield. Stock is assigned to a PDA, which can act like a pin pointer to find the item in question
How this help: Right now, guns don't always meet the needs of its user. Take for example: In revolution rounds, shotguns are always the most effective, so everyone trys to grab a riot shotgun from the armory and either the lethal rounds run out, or the shotguns do. With my proposal, you could load an attachment onto your E-gun that turns it into an E-Shotgun

In all honesty something that would be kind of cool would be a sort of modular taser. Default version would be the taser/disabler set up of the hybrid taser but the barrels would have their own ammo and could be swapped out for different ones. The warden could have access to laser barrels and R&D could research and print additional barrels like ballistic barrels that fire. 38 rounds, ion barrels which function like the ion rifle, and dart barrels which fire syringes. The catch is that the taser/disabler barrels would have half of the charges a hybrid taser has, mostly so people don't just constantly make taser/taser combinations just so they can get in 8 taser shots.

Guncrafting and modular weapons are very, very cool and interesting ideas on paper. In practice, it is a balance nightmare. That is why everyone on the forums wanted it, but twisted in half when they found out that they could not handle the transition.

That's exactly the same bug and I personally removed them after I couldn't consistently reproduce them and trace it any better than "These things aren't fucking deleting correctly", and it's not the only thing I meant when I say that.
