It's called mouse trap.
Which also has other functions, much more interesting in my opinion.

Re: Pressure plate - signaller
Can you attach a signaler to a mouse trap, and leave it as a remote detonation device?

Re: Pressure plate - signaller
Yes, you can. You can do more with it, as well. Bombs do not support mouse traps natively, but you can just put a signaler on both.
Chem grenades have native mouse trap support I believe. Meaning that you can just stick it to the nade to make it a mine.
But there's much cooler thing you can do. Mousetraps inside backpack trigger when somebody tries to open it.
People who put JUST bombs with signallers into backpacks to later blow them up don't really know how to do it properly, hue hue.

There used to be IR lazers but I don't think they actually worked
The most excessive signature on /tg/station13.
Still not even at the limit after 8 fucking years.
The evil holoparasite user I can't believe its not DIO and his holoparasite I can't believe its not Skub have been defeated by the Spacedust Crusaders, but what has been taken from the station can never be returned.

You can get them from an autolathe; they do work, they're just not very good.

Re: Pressure plate - signaller
IR lasers are bugged to shit. I was testing grenades with them, I placed it down with a visible laser, picked it up, put it somewhere else. THE LASER DIDN'T MOVE, so I could trigger the nade with a laser coming from no where.
Briefcase/bag mousetrap bombs are great though, especially if you use it to safeguard the disk.
