New traitor item to counteract random searches

Trickster Bag

A normal looking bag that has a voice analyzer trigger. When you purchase it, the bag can be set up with an analyzed voice. It has 2 sets of 7 slots, making it 14 slots. Activitating the bag with the preset voice will switch it to the other set of 7 slots. So you can put your non supiscious items in the first set and put all your traitor items in teh second set.

TC cost would be like 5-6.
This bag is really good because it has a good utility and pretty stealthy.

These should counteract random searches i think.

Way too powerful.

Some kind of false-bottom suitcase that you can enter a special combo into to reveal an extra hidden slot would be more balanced.

Like Cedar said have double the bag slots is insane in and of itself. Even the bag of holding can't do that.

I think the real problem is with random searches.
I code for the code project and moderate the code sections of the forums.

I mean if we can't fix random searches, lets give antags a chance to counter random searches. It doesnt have to be that op bag. It could be something else.

What if instead it was a "pocket protector". It would fit in your pocket and would be functionally the same as carboard box in terms of item size tolerance and items slots. However, it makes your pocket seem empty and makes it unpickpocketable. The counter to this would be stripping a jumpsuit but many cops would find that unethical, especially for random searches in the halls. Fund it.

On the topic of an item to counter searches, creative traitors can already do this and I feel we don't really strictly need a traitor item for this specific instance. You shouldn't be getting searched anyways, you should be avoiding searches. You're a traitor.
Real talk though just rig some C4 with a signaler then attach a mousetrap to another signaler, drop it in your box and you're set. Not to mention how ungodly the satisfaction of the arresting officer exploding while you make your getaway is.

I think that small boxes like the matchbox for pockets should exist. But obviously, if the box has as much storage as the matchbox it shouldn't be used because meta

It should not be tied to a single item if possible, if it functions like a cham projector it means people won't meta the "matchbox" being the hidden traitor item.

A dynamic could be that the smugglers bag is for more long-term storage of a large amount of items but not on your person and it takes time to gain access to whereas a "matchbox" (or whatever) is short-term storage of a single item but with immediate access and on your person.

I'm still waiting for the ability to attach a cham projector to something to disguise it as something else. Smuggle bombs into security unnoticed because your transfer valves are cloaked as a bag of cheesie honkers seems like a solid feature to me.
