Molotov Cocktail
Combining the damp rag(EDIT: or a piece of paper, or bandage as they have been suggested) and a liquor bottle should make a Molotov cocktail, which when activated by a hand held source of flame sets everything within a tile of the tile or mob it is thrown at on fire.

Alternatively, use paper and booze instead of damp rag, seeing as there aren't really that many damp rags to go around.

IED already serves this purpose.
But I still totally agree, But it should be do-able with bandages as it's plenty common, and paper doesn't fit for me.
Combine bandage with rag, light rag with welder, lighter, match, etc etc

Difference between IED and molotov being that the IED makes at least a bit of a bang, but the molotov shatters on impact?

This would see less use than IEDs.

IED's don't do shit in terms of actual bang.
It would be functionally better since (I would assume) it would explode on impact instant of RANDOM FUSE TIME

Nobody uses IEDs because they are worthless with random fuses. a detonate on impact small-area fire grenade would be relatively useful without being overpowered, and it would be extremely fun; ie a Bartender lobbing Molotovs at Ops with dual eswords, or Revs throwing them at a squad of Security in riot gear.

Isn't that almost exactly what IEDs are now? They used to boom but now its just fire. Cut the random timer, give it a new sprite and bam you're basically done.
