We need a bloody "mentor help" button already.

It needs to be done, have a bunch of people that know their shit and give them access to a "mentor help" button so anyone with a question about one of the million stupid little nuances of this game that nobody knows about can ask for help with.

It wouldn't even need to be a rank that has to be manually edited, it could be something you select on the character setup and can only be used when you ghost at roundstart.

When I was first starting out, or whenever I still have questions, adminhelp always functioned as a mentor button for me.
Maybe I'm just pestering admins when I shouldn't be, but I was always was under the impression that's policy.

It still is.

If you were to code in a separate rank, you'd need to give people the 'mentor' rank and make some sort of mentorhelp button and the bad thing about that is that it opens up the potential to mentors to meta like never before.

If you were to code it to be so you had to be a ghost to be a mentor... it wouldn't get used often, since people would prefer to actually play. Usually the people who ghost the most often are... surprise, admins.
