It's redundant at this point, if you don't give yourself all access as HoP your playing the game wrong.

Nah, then you'd miss out on the emergent gameplay where the HoP leaves his ID in the console and the clown gives everyone else all access.

If I need all access I make an assistant I'd with all access and name it after the first dude who suicides in the round.

What you do is leave the ID you carry with its round start access, except you remove its access to ID Consoles.

You then create two new ID cards, one card that only has access to ID Consoles, and another card that is all access, except again it has no access to ID Consoles.

You hide your All Access ID somewhere safe, and when your not working you can hide your ID console ID card somewhere. Makes it that if someone kills you they won't immediately benefit from a All Access ID.

I just give myself all access. If someone kills me we have bigger issues to deal with than the guy having all access.

If someone kills you as a all access HoP then you've just made the issue a bigger deal.

My process may seem convuluted but it ensures that if the worse comes to pass that it won't significantly advantage the person who killed you, and it'll help in others to track down and stop your killer.

I give myself all-access but sans the access to the ID console and make a blank ID with ID console access. I then put the blank ID in my safe with my super-sekret password and then retrieve it as I need.

Nobody ever checks the safes strangely enough.

For bonus security, leave the card unnamed, and put the ID console card into your ID card box. Then your looters when you inevitably die will have to go though your ID card box and guess which one is the 'true' ID.

I just make a spare all access ID card and keep it in my ID card box, blank. Then, if the need arises, I use the card. But guess what- If you're not playing HoPcurity, YOU DON'T NEED ALL ACCESS! The reason you need all access is usually so you can greytide or do other's jobs. Only time I'd say a HoP needs all access is on a rev round or war ops, or, if the station is truly fucked and you are the last one that has a small chance of saving it. (not gonna happen, HoPs are universally unrobust.)

If someone steals your id as hop.. they can just give themselves all access anyway. You have almost nothing to lose from giving your id everything.
