Nonhostile Admin-Spawned Entity Validity
It came up just now that a Centcom official spawned by an admin was dogpiled and killed by the crew. I was under the impression that this was specifically against the rules, but aside from remembering it being a serverjoin alert, it's not in the rules proper unless I've missed it somewhere. Francinum doubted the idea of this being an issue, so I figured I'd ask here.
As far as I'm aware, admin-spawned non-hostile entities like Centcom officials, ERTs, pirate traders etc. were absolutely not acceptable murder targets for loyal crew. Is this or is this not the case?

I believe its not been added to rules as its effectively a clarification of rule 1, under the point of "don't try to kill something just because you technically can"
But yes it was definitely a round-join alert and AFAIK nothings changed with regards to it being punishable if you immediately jump to trying to murder non-hostile event entities.

this is policy but didn't actually make it onto the rules page yet (iirc) for whatever reason

I believe this would go under rule 1 but people are autistic and need a clause for every situation so apparently not

I did indeed make this a bannable thing and it's still in effect as far as I know. The notification about the new rule actually mentioned centcomm officials specifically as an example of this.
