Your side of the story: well there was a guy which telling was i am batman i can help you with anything,and i thought telling him to kill and rape gorrok would be funny because that was reference to discord gif which gor was knowing and i was pretty sure for he would never feel uncomfortable for something like this,but then admin sended pm to me about not saying things like that,and i asked him why?because this was between gor and me,gor didnt ahelp or feel uncomforted,then admin started to explain about why is this a problem and i gave him point,but i still had few questions about rules for my future behavior,like if saying rape is not allowed then why this word didnt get filtered like lol or lmao,but admin decided to i am rejecting to understand him and said going to give me dayban,i told him to why you avoiding with ban instead of answering my questions, we dont have mentors so i have to ask admins about my questions,and we did a little more talk and finally i decided he was right and said thanks for your warning i understand and i wont tell rape word again,but still thought i am rejecting to understand him somehow and gave me 1-day ban

It may be helpful to look at this from the broader perspective not of you and gor, but of all possible people that would have read your message both in-game and OOC as observers. You should approach this from the perspective that all messages you send in-game are public.

I can answer this for you, and it's something that isn't very well known because it basically only involves MSO and the headmins, and only headmins since the word filter was added a couple of years ago.

The word filter is 70% controlled by MSO, 30% controlled by the headmins, 0% controlled by anyone else. MSO sets all the limits and restrictions on when words may be filtered and into which filter they go. The headmins will often add or remove words within MSO's guidelines, but we can't (and don't) add every single word. The word filter is meant as a final barrier to protect players from accidentally breaking the rules. The responsibility is still with you to avoid messages that could break the rules in the first place.

An example for you. The word "black" isn't on the filter, but saying "I hate black people" will attract admin attention quite quickly. The admin team aren't going to spend much time discussing whether "black" should be filtered in any way, because the admins have no control over it.

Now I'm not going to hazard a guess when the word rape could actually be used ICly, but trexter was quite right in telling you it's a headmin issue. Or - in other words - you should make a Policy Discussion post suggesting we add it to one of the filters if you think it should be added.

No form of erotic roleplay is allowed on the servers, including things that could be construed as sexual by unwilling participants.

yeah like i said i think texter was right about rape warning but the point is he didnt ban me for saying rape, he banned me for rejecting to understand him and in logs we can clearly see i am understanding him but still banning me for 1 day

Hi, we weren't too happy with how this ban was handled-

11. You are able to request that head admins review an appeal that is unable to come to an amicable resolution, however you are not entitled to a review occurring. Efforts must still be made by both you and the banning admin to resolve an appeal regardless of the request for reviewal.

There was no effort made by the banning admin to interact with the contents of the appeal at first as it was immediately passed off to headmins.
