Your side of the story: Thought I'd pull a funny goof by making a vox announcement implying that the captain was watching workplace inappropriate content on his console. Got boinked and noted for rule 8. Rule 8 seems to be intended to keep people from ERPing or doing creepy shit though, and I'd argue that locker room humor wouldn't fall under either of those categories? It was an immature joke, sure, but all the folks over common radio seemed to find it funny. Kinda harshed my vibe to get bwoinked over it.

Why you think you should be unbanned: Seems like a misinterpretation of the rule to me? I'd suggest it was more in violation of RP rule 9 than rule 8 due to the goofiness of the announcement.

Also on a fresh account due to being unable to get into my old one, can't log in anymore and resetting my password doesn't send any emails to my inbox. It is what it is.

I do admit that my stance regarding rule 8 is relatively no-nonsense, and I suppose the issue lies at where one draws the line between inappropriate behavior and "locker room humour".
