In order to reduce griefing and spam in our Discord without forcing everyone to have a verified phone number on their account, we require new members to validate themselves as a /tg/station player before entering our Discord.
In-game method
- Connect to one of our game servers and click on the OOC tab.
- Click the Verify Discord Account button.
- It will give you a command to paste into the #verification channel on discord, copy and paste it.
- You are verified, if anything breaks, let verifiers know.
Note, you will need at least 10 hours of living time in game before you will be able to verify, this is the only way we can prevent low effort spammers getting into the server
Is there another way?
Not yet, but we are working on providing a way for those with byond-linked forum accounts to auto verify without having to do so in-game.
