The most simplest way is to use the `verify discord account` verb in the ooc tab on any of the /tg/ game servers.

In order to use this, you'll need to first link your discord account in game using the link discord account verb (if you have already done this don't worry, you won't need to again, even if you used a different /tg/ game server to link.). This requires you know your discord userid, and then verify your byond username from within discord.

In order to reduce griefing and spam in our Discord, we require new members to validate themselves as a /tg/station player before being allowed to talk in most channels on our Discord.

Note: You will need at least 90 minutes of living time in game (On an official /tg/Station 13 server) before some channels are available

If You've Never Verified Before

  1. Connect to one of our official /tg/Station 13 server game servers and click on the OOC tab.
  2. Click the Verify Discord Account button.
  3. This screen will pop up
    Verify2.png
  4. Copy the command between the two "'s, in this example
    ?verify this-isan-example-code-only-donotuse
  5. Paste and send this string as a message in the #verificationbus channel on discord.
  6. If this works you will be verified, and you may be able to see more channels if you have enough play time.
  7. If you don't have the full amount of play time, you can verify again later once you have 90 living minutes.
  8. If you can't see other channels and the bot puts out an error message that you don't understand, contact the @Bot Owner role for more assistance. You may also ping @Discord Jannie or the @Verifier role as well.

Verified Before

  1. Send
    ?verify
as a message to #verificationbus channel on discord.
  2. You will be verified as long as you had a previous valid verification.
  3. Note, you must have actually completed verification at least once previously with this discord account for this to actually work

New Discord Account, but Previously Verified

  1. Follow the process as if you were a new account
  2. This is also true if you are changing ckey

Is There Another Way?

No.
