Janitor
Access: Janitor's Closet, Maintenance
Additional Access: N/A
Difficulty: Easy
Supervisors: Head of Personnel
Duties: Clean up trash and blood. Replace broken lights. Slip people over. USE THE WET FLOOR SIGNS!
Guides: no external guides
Quote: You point at the wet floor sign.

Your job is to mop up blood, oil, dust and vomit, replace broken or missing light bulbs and tubes, and pick up litter. It's more fun than it sounds!

Bare minimum requirements: Replace broken lights. Run around space cleaner-ing overly large messes in case of demons. If you are going to wet floors, use wet floor signs.

Stellar Patrol, it's not a job, it's an adventure!

You have the most important time consuming, under appreciated and eventually pointless job on the station. You keep small areas from looking shitty while the areas you've already cleaned are covered with blood and litter again. You'll clean floors, toss out junk, replace broken lights and overall, keep the station resembling a workplace and not an anarchist playground!

Do not surrender to the overwhelming dirtyness of a rotten-to-the-core-station, only you and your mop's deeds, nevertheless how insignificant they may seem, are the ones who protect the station's virtue; For a clean floor without blood nor stains, leads to peace, corners that yet remain virgin of the scum and trash, maintain order, and lightbulbs in even the darkest hole of malice and crime, shall lead to safety. These are your mottos, protect them with your life, or perish trying.

Equipment

Much of this equipment is acquired from your JaniDrobe vendor in your Custodial Closet or for 'free' in the Service Techlab and the Autolathe, in Cargo.
Jshoe.png Galoshes that prevent you from slipping on wet floors and items such as bananas and the clown's PDA, but do nothing on space lubed floors
Cleaner.png An extremely convenient spray bottle of space cleaner that will sadly run out quickly and need to be replenished by chemistry. These don't wet the floor, so you don't need to carry around signs/a projector and wear galoshes. The crew would much rather you use this over running around creating obnoxious safety hazards, but you can't refill them nearly as easily as a cart.
Grenade.png Three space cleaner foam grenades.
Bucket.png A bucket for filling your janitorial cart. You can put it in your bag full of water for an emergency refill, somehow. Can be worn, but doesn't really do anything apart from making you look stupid. Try checking if it's empty first.
Mop.png A mop for mopping floors. Need to be wet regularly. Fits in your backpack
Broom.png A broom for sweeping trash. Click to sweep toward the tile you're facing, or press 'Use' it to wield in both hands and start pushing trash you walk over. Predeterminated weapon agaisnt Grey tiders among other entities of evil.
Wetfloorsign.png Some wet floor signs. You can wear them for some very basic brute damage protection, don't expect it to save your life from anything other than a drunk assistant.
Janiprojector.pngA holographic sign projector. You can press 'Use' to clear all the ones you've put down. Much more useful and convenient than having to go back and collect physical signs.
JaniBioSuit.png A bio-suit and its hoodJaniBioSuitHood.png. Those protect from direct exposure to chemicals, and contact-spreading diseases. Require internals to protect you from airborne viruses. The suit slows you down. The hood prevents facehuggers from raping you and conceals your identity.
WaterTank.png A water tank to fill your janitorial cart from, using your bucket.
LightBox.png Two boxes of light bulbs to refill your light replacer or give to assistants so they can help replace lights.
Lightreplacer0.png A light replacer used to remove broken light tubes/bulbs from light fixtures and replace them with new ones with one click. Alternatively, use in hand while standing under a fixture with broken light to automatically replace it. Refilled with light tubes/bulbs (including broken ones) and glass.
Trashbag.png A trash bag. Equippable in the exosuit slot of bio-suits BioSuit.png, the Janicart and the cart. Use it on tiny or small items to pick them up. Use on a disposal bin to empty. You can also store this in your Janicart Janicart.png. To take it off, right-click the Janicart while ridden, or simply interact with it otherwise.
MousetrapBox.png A box of mousetraps to kill mice that never leave maintenance without assistanceMousetrap.png
Bear trap.png Two bear traps for trapping space bears or your colleagues.
Paint violet.png Some paint remover for cleaning up graffiti and floor stains.
Janitorial Cart.png A janitorial cart which holds a mop bucket, four signs, a mop, a spray bottle, a trash bag and a light replacer.
Janibelt.png A janibelt, a belt that can hold many of your standard issue items.
Janicart.png The janicart, a PIMPIN' RIDE. The key spawns nearby. Drag yourself onto the cart to ride, then insert key into it to be able to start moving. You can remove the key by alt-clicking the janicart. To unbuckle from the vehicle, click the janicart or press 'Resist' (defaults to B).
Wirebrush.png A wire brush allowing you to remove dust, most notably from walls. It has a noticeable delay, similarly to soap or damp rags.Rag.png

Most important, you have your purple soft cap to signify your duty to the station who to lynch when the Clown is wetting floors.

Wet Floor Signs

Drop warning signs where you mop. People get pissed when you don't. You don't have enough to cover every area you clean and between lag and every player running everywhere they're usually not spotted until people are already on their backs, but they can't blame you for doing what you can!

Shaking up those you slipped maintains favour with the crew. Do this with Help action.png Help 32.pngLeft-click with Combat Mode Combat 32.pngEnable with 4, disable with 1 or toggle with F by default. Left-clicking people with an empty hand will Harm Harm 32.png them if on, or Help Help 32.png them if off. Prevents you from switching places or being pushed when colliding with people. toggled off. . Smugly pointing at one of your signs incurs their ire.

Also, if people are chasing you, throw a bucket of water behind you, or where they will run into it, as they likely want to steal from you (your shoes are valuable). Or fill your spray bottle with a little water to quickly take down huge amounts of people.

People assume if someone slips, it was your doing. This may not be true. Often it was the chemist with space lube, or a clown with a bucket of water. It's possible to differentiate between slipping on a wet floor and slipping on a lubed floor.

Make sure the detective has cleared a scene before you clean up an area of some blood. Follow people dragging bodies to the medical bay; they leave long trails of blood which means more work for you.

People are going to accidentally charge your cart halfway down the hallway. Kind people will get on the other side of it and push it back to you. There's no avoiding this, apart from not using the cart and relying on the space cleaner Cleaner.png, or using the mop with buckets of water held on your person. This would require you to carry signs too.

A janitor cyborg is usually a more efficient janitor than you. It can clean floors by just moving onto them. But so can you once you get your floor buffer upgrade.

Cleaning Without Being Lynched

Your janitorial cart can hold up to 100 units of liquid. This does not need to be straight water. If you're able to get Chemistry to give you 50 units of ammonia, you can mix it with 50 units of water. Congratulations! You just created 100 units of Space Cleaner. Mopping the floor with Space Cleaner does not leave it slippery. People might still assume that if you're mopping without the signs that you're creating a safety hazard, so make sure to correct them BEFORE they choke you to death.

The bars of soap are a great cleaning implement on the station. They don't leave slippery puddles behind, and they're good for getting those hard-to-reach places (like that vomit under the surgery table) that cleaning grenades can't. Your bar of Nanotrasen brand soap is limited to 300 uses.

Remember that your bottle of Space Cleaner Cleaner.png can clean tiles instantly as well. If you aim far enough from your position, you can clean up to five tiles in a single spray. Useful to quickly clean up your evidence.

By right-clicking on the spray bottle, you can tip the contents out of it.

You can clean bloody people by spraying them with your Space Cleaner Cleaner.png.

Spray people with space cleaner if they are covered in blood around their head and chest (but not if they have bloody gloves). This usually makes people happy, as security officers won't hound them as much. Sometimes the station needs a hero though, all you need to do is mop the right floor, or spray water at the right time to stop the worst fiend humanity has ever known.

Advanced Sanitation Gear

Once science has researched Advanced Sanitation Technology, you will be able to print a few advanced sanitation items from the service techfab.

  • TheAdv mop.pngAdvanced Mop, which works like your ordinary mop, but it's faster, stronger and generates its own water.
  • TheBluespace trashbag.pngTrashbags of Holding that may hold a huge amount of tiny and small items. A quality of life improvement.
  • Two upgrades for the janicart Janicart.png(the drivable one). They may be installed by clinking on the vehicle while holding the upgrade in hand, and removed with a screwdriver. Those two upgrades are, however, exclusive.

Assembling a Crazy Cleaning Crew

If you give an assistant galoshes, mop and janicart, and just use your space cleaner, you can assemble a multi-man mess elimination team. You could give additional assistants extra spray bottles if you can find them, and on some maps you can find an extra mop and mop bucket (a retro janicart without slots for tools) to give to a third assistant.

There's totally no way that this could backfire. Everybody knows how hardworking and trustworthy assistants are. There's absolutely zero chance that an assistant will just take your no-slip shoes and run.

Tips

  • Your PDA has a Custodial Locator. Use this to locate your janitorial cart Janitorial Cart.png or mop Mop.png. This can also help you find your Custodial Closet, since that's where those items spawn.
  • Mopping and cleaning cobwebs allow your character to gain Cleaning experience. This skill allows you to clean faster, eventually mopping near instantly, and receive a Legendary Janitor cape.
  • The cleanbotsCleanbot.gif are able to clean tiles automatically and autonomously, and might clean maintenance if the airlock is open.
    • Your ID has access to the settings of cleanbots. Click a cleanbot with your ID or through alt+click to unlock it. You can then click the robot to alter its settings and turn it on or off.
    • If you're planning on leveling your Cleaning skill, do not open airlocks to maintenance when they're close and robust them away turn them off if necessary.
  • Instead of refilling the Light Replacer Lightreplacer0.png with light tubes/bulbs, you can refill it with glass sheets Glass.png.
  • Lost your galoshes? Need more default Cleaner Grenades or buckets? Cargo can order a Janitorial Cart and Galoshes Crate and a Janitorial Supply crate, if you ask nicely.
  • Clicking a spray bottle while it's in your hand actually changes the pressure knob to use less of the content when sprayed. (Alternates between 2 and 5)
    • Right-Clicking on a spray bottle gives you the option to empty it.
  • Learn how to mix space cleaner. This will make refilling your space cleaner bottle easier for when the chemist can't be bothered. (Space cleaner it's composed by mixing 50% ammonia + 50% water; The ratio to make ammonia its 75% hydrogen + 25% nitrogen. Ammonia can also be found in Blumpkins Blumpkin.pngamong other things. Some everyday objects like lightbulbs and glowsticks may contain useful stuff, consider the Ghetto chemistry guide to obtain your desired reagents from thin air.
  • Chemistry can make drying agent. If splashed on your galoshes Jshoe.png with Rightclick.pngOrdinary right-click. It doesn't matter if Combat Mode Combat 32.pngEnable with 4, disable with 1 or toggle with F by default. Left-clicking people with an empty hand will Harm Harm 32.png them if on, or Help Help 32.png them if off. Prevents you from switching places or being pushed when colliding with people. is on or not., they will be transformed into purple absorbent galoshes, which still prevents you from slipping while also drying floor tiles you walk on.
  • Xenobiology can create speed potions. Use these on your galoshes Jshoe.png and/or janicart Janicart.png to make them faster.

Tips for Traitoring

  • A backpack full of mousetraps Mousetrap.png is by far one of the most annoying things to deal with when Security is searching you. Attach the mousetrap to a space cleaning grenade Grenade.png while wearing galoshes Jshoe.png to slip them, take your bag back and get away. Alternatively you could use your mousetraps to set death traps using any explosive you have at hand.
  • Cleaner Grenades can potentially stop an entire party of pursuers by slipping them, or forcing them to stop. Your galoshes make you immune to slipping on foam, water or soap yourself.
  • Dual hand your broom Broom.png and push a few bear traps Bear trap.png under your foes feet to win the battle before it even begins.
  • Metal foam grenades (found at EVA) contain a high ammount of fluorosulphuric acid, meanwhile neetles, which are a common weed type, contain sulphuric acid, if you are bright, you can transform your Space cleaner grenades into dangerously corrossive foams of acid, in other words, ghetto EZ clean bundles Grenade.png . (Replace the beaker containing water, replace with a larger beaker containing the same ammount of water + acids or other reagents of your choice.)
  • Progress in research may allow you to print more bear traps Bear trap.png in the service techfabProto.png. Use this to torment your foes and catch your targets.
  • Using the water vapor canister in your custodial closet you can temporarily make everybody in a specific zone unable to stand, run nor do their jobs, if you have either galoshesJshoe.png or a janicart Janicart.png the water wont slip you and therefore you will gain a huge advantage, meaning you can quickly kidnap and/or clean someone. Simply double grab, use your maintenance access to get out quickly, take radio off and do as you wish.
  • Emagging a light replacer will make the replaced light explode when turned on. This, when used with care, can help you set up deadly traps when someone presses the light switch.
  • Your water vapor canister can be toyed with just like any other canister, you can use a freezer / heater Freezer.gif (Found in: Medbay, Atmospherics, Science, Kitchen, Engineering) to alter the temperature, with the cryotube for example, you can unwrench the pipes and connect your own canister to either heat or cool it down. With this you can instantly freeze any departament, if not a major portion of the station (Particulary effective at murdering Lizard-Folk, who are extremely weak to cold temperatures), or instead, make it all a living hell for most races except lizards (which are resistant to heat), trap them in a slipery and hot environment that slowly kills them, to prevent yourself from being harmed by the heat, there are several drinks, suits and even mutations that will protect you. (e.g: firesuit Firesuit.png , iced beer IcedBeer.gif, most space suits Grey space suit.png, Most soda cansSpace Mountain Wind.png)

Advanced Sanitation For Experienced Janitors

As a janitor, while you gain dexterity in your labour, you will eventually find no more use in the orthodox ways of average janitors, your ability wont match your circumstances and desires, and therefore will see itself limited, so if you seek to be better at your job than anyone, to cleanse the scum in half the time, to be virtous and strong, to protect your station like an errant knight protects his lady, use this section as a reference for what it implies to be a good janitor, for you will not only have to put more effort, but also be fearless of any lynching for most of your deeds.

(Beware unexperienced janitors who want to cheat and become great with ease, i warn you in your misfortune, for until you are hardened by adversity and used to the desesperating torments of indecency, im afraid you wont only not reach greatness, but shall be stuck in the path of the lazy and unskilled. So begone! for as a good janitor you dont simply do what you are meant to, but do far more and beyond so that no fiend nor devil even dares to stain your clean floors with blood, that is the way of the expert and wise janitor.)Jjaarr.png

Forbiden Ultimate Cleaning Tool: The tempest

This ancient cleaning tool surpases the mop Mop.pngAdv mop.pngin speed and space cleaner Cleaner.pngin range at the cost of inventory space and slipification of several tiles besides the desired ones, and a huge potential for lyncheability.

  1. Request empty plasma tanks Tank Dispenser.pngat science, preferibly at round start due to scientists all gathering near the techfabProto.png to print varied things.
  2. If your request its rejected, proceed to step 3 and wait for the scientists to disperse. Come back later and use your broomBroom.png to open your way inside, dual-wield it and hit the windoor Windoor.gif a few times until it breaks.
  3. Build a flamethrower Flamethrower.png.
  4. Set the water vapor canister File:Ae3.png in the custodial closet to maximum presure, load the empty plasma tanks with water vapor by clicking it with the tank in hand, then opening the valve and closing before extracting the full tank. Be careful, for if you substract the tank while the valve its open the canister will be emptied in the room.
  5. Attach to flamethrower Flamethrower.png , set the pressure of the tank to vary how much ammount of water vapor will be shot each time, around 300 kPa will be enough to make it work, be aware it will be emptied pretty fast each shot, so make sure to have a lot of tanks ready in your bag. Increasing the pressure will increase the range of the water vapor, but its often prefferable to shoot more times than to shoot a big single load.
  6. (Optional). Use either galoshes Jshoe.png or a janicart Janicart.pngto avoid being slipped. Paint it purple with a spraycan so you dont get stopped by authorities too fast.
  7. Use a T-Ray T-ray.gifand a crowbar TGMC Crowbar.pngto locate and extract smuggler's satchelsSmuggler.pngfrom beneath floor tiles, these are spread all over the station, can fit in bag and can hold several plasma tanks so you never run out of vapor. Once you have enough tanks, dont fear to use them, your canister will probably not run out of vapor nevertheless how much you waste, do be considerate to only use this tool for major fast cleaning and not for griefing, be a proper janitor and dont get lynched before your deed its complete.
"Reaction search" will reveal all the recipes avaible, including omesasoapification. Remember the recipe is randomized, so it wont always be the same.
Omega Soap: The most advanced soap known to mankind.

An experienced janitor must also know other arts apart from cleaning, chemistry, hydrophonics and bartending are good examples and pheraps even.. greytiding. For most the omega soap its an absolubtly useless goal to try to archieve, but if you are used to obtain chemicals fast, if you can obtain it in under 6 minutes, this secret item will sure be worth it. This soap can clean stupidly fast and leave no trace of water and reach where nor water vapor nor sprays Cleaner.png nor mops Adv mop.png can.

1. There are three ways to obtain the recipe, the first one its by having the family heirloom quirk as a janitor, which will often spawn you with a poem in your bag, which contains the recipe. The second its by looting in maintenance, which isnt really worth it as its rare for it to spawn, this exists mostly for people to find out about the existence of this secret item. Third its the safest one, use the reaction guide in the chem dispenser Dispenser.pngand search for "Omegasoapification" in it, this one its only dificult if you dont have the support of the chemist, which can be solved, as always with your broom your nice manners.

Average recipe, composed by 10 different chemicals, nevertheless how exagerated this list may seem, an experienced player after paying enough attention, will notice these arent particulary hard to obtain for the most part.

2. Obtain all the 10 different reagents, these arent really impossible to find at all, most are pretty common in fact, the use the chemistry guide, drinks guide, and plants to know what are you looking for and where, some reagents may be trickier, for example pump-up (Mix of epinephrine + coffee) which while its in the reaction guide, its not in the chemistry guide, bluespace dust or monkey powder, which have to be obtained by grinding blue-space crystalsBluespace Crystal.png and monkey cubes Monkey Cube.png respectively, lizard wine Lizardwine.pngneeds ethanol and a lizard tail. Pray the recipe you are stuck with doesnt contain a chemical too extravagant, the recipe will always have a single chemical that its noticeably harder to get.

3. Dont look for chemicals in their listed order, neither from easier to hardest nor hardest to easiest, the fastest way to obtain them all is to separate them by zone, look for those that involves plants first, follow with chemistry so when you come back to botany the plants are done growing, then go bartender for drinks, your time its precious, so be practical and think for the fastest strat.

4. Remember you are not alone in this. Meanwhile you are finding certain items, leave your requests with botanists, bartenders and chemists, each will do the job to obtain their respective chemicals at their own pace for you, while you go and obtain the other reagents needed, and it wont be of too much bother for them as individuals, since its one or two chemicals at most, but they will mean it all to reach your ultimate goal.

5. (optional) Make Ephedrine + tea at chemistry as soon as you can to gain extreme speed and reach places thrice as fast. Use the following recipe before chemist kicks ya out (10 welding fuel + 10 carbon + 25 hydrogen + 5 nitrogen + 15 ethanol - 10u + 25 hydrogen + 25 sugar).

Advanced Broom Wielding: The best friend of the good janitor

The average janitor will often depend on the trashbagTrashbag.pngto dispose of waste surrounding the floors of the station, however good janitors will have their ability level not match the slow and inconvenient limitations of the garbage bag, due to it not being able to fit large objects, having to forcefuly hang it in either the janicart Janicart.png or janitorial cart Janitorial Cart.png , which while useful for unexperienced janitors do also slow you down (You may use a speed potion on the janicart to solve this problem) and the fact you have to take it out or put it in manually. A broom Broom.png its much more compacted, since it can fith inside the janibelt Janibelt.png and the bag Smuggler.png, unlike the trashbag, can push any object and doesnt need to be manualy grabed every time you need it.

To alternate from dual-wielding and single-wielding with a broom you have to "activate your held object", you can do this by either left-click Leftclick.png it directly, or press the predterminated hotkey to activate objects in hand, the key Z, which is considerably faster than moving your mouse and click it every time you need to switch.

Dual-wielding will allow you to automaticly push any items you walk towards a tile foward , while also allowing you to manually click tiles to push the items, just like you would with a single-hand-wield.

To put your broom inside your inventory fast, use the hotkey E, this will put it inside either the belt or the bag, but the common strat is to have your broom Broom.png inside your beltJanibelt.png, and your cleaning toolMop.pngin your backpackSmuggler.png so you can alternate one with the other as needed. So remember:

Shift + B = Put in hand item into backpack, or take out last item put into backpack.

Shift + E = Put in hand item into belt or belt slot, or take out last item put into belt.

  • How to maneuver your broom

Your broom its the perfect tool to clean garbage, its fast and practical, once you learn how to use it you can leave rooms actually clean in less time.

While pushing items with dual-wield, switch to single-wield to be able to move directly over the garbage and avoid to accidentaly pushing it over a table, agaisnt a corner or agaisnt a wall, which will result in a unnessesary waste your time. If the garbage gets stuck agaisnt a corner or wall, walk over the pile, look at the direction you want to push by either left-clicking Leftclick.png at said direction or using Shift + W A S D, and click on the tile you are standing ontop to sweep it away (prefferibly in single-wield, in case you misclick your sprite the damage dealt will be a third of a dual-wield). Once you have gathered all the trash into a same tile, sweep it towards a disposal bin File:Disposalbine.png or maintenance Airlock.gif Wise janitors from far lands have also began to employ recyclers Recycler.gif (found at Waste disposal) to remove garbage even faster as a transporteable disposal unit, completely harmlesss agaisnt organic matter unless emaged, deconstruct to move around, great for extreme cases where the station its a pigstry.

  • Fight malice and vile ruffians to keep the integrity of the station

Your duty as a janitor its not only to clean and wipe everyone's ass, but also to prevent filthyness to occurr and spread in the first place. Your broom Broom.png, your beloved tool and weapon, when dual wielded can do almost as much damage as a spear Spear.png (for real). So use it, the inventory of experienced janitors dont need no other thing apart from cleaning and maintenance tools, you want a weapon? you got a great one that fits in your belt Janibelt.png.

Protect your foolish and careless workers with your life, slay the helpless ruffiansTraitor.png who without fear nor shame murder and torment the innocent, yet lend a spare upon those who while vile and scumy, can still be corrected and cleansed from their sins, do not filth your hands by taking their life, hit them black and blue with your broom, and just before they die, show them mercy, even if they will come back for vengance, keep your heart clean of sin at any times nevertheless how much of a rabid dog you are facing. Inspire fear among your foes, and become a formidable warrior of the broom, defeat lightbulb breaker after another until you die or the round ends with a sane station.

When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? Perhaps to be too practical is madness. To surrender dreams — this may be madness. Too much sanity may be madness — and maddest of all: to see life as it is, and not as it should be!”Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Don Quixote

Conspicuously Clean Floors

As a traitor you're going to have a hard time Fun time. Although you are capable of cleaning up your evidence and prints, you have little access to the station. The best you can do is throw water in front of your target so he falls, drag him into the nearest maintenance tunnel, and beat him dead with your mop a fire extinguisher. Be practical your broom, dual handed it becomes a dangerous weapon.

Your garbage bag is handy for hiding objects in, as it's rarely checked during a search. It can also become the perfect weapon, with certain keybindings you can become a shard shuriken throwing machine.

A bear trap can slow someone until someone else is kind enough to remove it from their leg. You don't need a low light area to hide it, you can place it under an object with a large sprite such as a backpack or pizza box, or you can just leave it uncovered and wait for the inevitable runner to zoom into it without time to notice it and stop.

Your light replacer can also be used to set deadly traps. Emagging your light replacer will make all lights you replace be rigged with plasma, causing them to explode when they are turned on. Be cautious though, replacing an active with an emagged-light replacer will instantly cause the light bulb to explode! Turn off the light first!

Your galoshes and spray bottle/mop can be used with water to create visible slippery tiles that cause reasonably long stuns on those who run across them, without slipping you. You can also use your galoshes and your cleaner grenades (which you can order more of through cargo) to create a large area that cannot be crossed by anyone but hulks, traitors with noslips, and you. Anyone caught on the foam area will not be able to move until it disperses without slipping. You can cross the foam and walk into someone to slip them, provided you're moving them onto a foam tile. The foam will stun them long enough to handcuff them, choke them, beat them and cause more knockdowns, or remove their headset.

Your galoshes are no-slips with a small slowdown and it's suspicious of you not to be wearing them. Beg the Hop for chem access ("for more space cleaner") or break in and fill stuff with lube. Your backpack water tank and spray-bottle can be filled with pepper-spray at the arrivals checkpoint. Just look at those TC savings!

You can often ask the Head of Personnel for more access to clean. This may get you into the department your target works in. You can sometimes dodge a search by claiming you're just there to clean.

You have maintenance as a janitor, despite the fact you're probably not going to clean there. Most positions don't have maintenance. Use this to your advantage. You also have an escape chute in your custodial closet (your disposal), and a back door that leads into maintenance.
